Alameda County Meals on Wheels - Wheels for Meals Ride 2014

We were lucky enough to be apart of this organization in making a huge difference! ​Each delivery day the programs of Alameda County Meals on Wheels deliver over 2,100 meals to homebound seniors across the county. These warm meals offer more than nutrition. Each delivery comes with a friendly check-in, connecting the seniors to their communities, and ensuring that the senior is healthy and stable in their home. Without Meals on Wheels, some of our clients would have no other choice but to enter a nursing home. Meals on Wheels keeps seniors in their homes, where they want to be.
