Independent Contractor Merry Maker Tentative Agreement
Observer: Unpaid
Training Rate: $30/hour
Professional Rate : $40/hr
Bonus Rates: $50/hr (per occasion)
5% Commission for referrals
Things to do before you become an official Merry Maker are listed below. Training will be at your own rate:
Supplies will be provided by Coralline’s Playtime.
Pictures of face paintings that were painted by the on call/ freelancer will need to be approved by Coralline’s Playtime before a Merry Maker will be booked for a playtime.
Magic, balloon skills and character skills will also be reviewed in person or video chat before a playtime can be booked.
On call/ Free lancer can choose between one or all of the activities to learn. It is not required to learn all, however, the more you know, the higher your chances are to being booked.
Availability Policy:
All weekends will be assumed available until noted otherwise. Requesting time off must be done via Google Calendar, this means every Merry Maker must have a Gmail account.

- Pick a Merry Making name
- 1 session of basic face painting (1.5 hours)
- 1 session of character training (1.5 hours)
- 1 session of basic balloon twisting (1.5 hours)
- 1 session of magic show training (1.5 hours) *optional
- Costume design.
- Photo shoot for website.
- On the field tag along training
